El Malecon
El Malecon is located in the historical centre of Puerto Vallarta and it is a promenade which is 870 metres long. El Malecon is emblematic of the city, not only because it is located next to the sea and has beautiful views of the bay, but also because along it there is a large concentration of restaurants, bars, art galleries, jewellers, shops, sculptures and other attractions which make it the perfect place for visitors and locals.

 

Mismaloya
Mismaloya is an area located in the south of Puerto Vallarta which has a beautiful beach surrounded by a rain-forest. Here one can enjoy delicious seafood dishes that are served up by the small restaurants or take a “panga” (barge) to visit the southern beaches or the Marino Los Arcos Park to go snorkelling. Mismaloya is famous for being where the film “La noche del Iguana” was shot. Eden is located in this area and it is the perfect place to go swimming in the small sinks formed by the big rocks. Eden was another famous film set , this time for the film “Predator” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

 

Marina Vallarta
Modern and sophisticated, the Marina Vallarta is located a few minutes away from Puerto Vallarta International Airport and offers visitors a large variety of entertainment. Los Muertos Pier
Located in the “Zona Romantica”. The Pier enters the sea a little over 100m and is the perfect place to go for a walk by yourself, with your partner or with your family and enjoy the spectacular sunset in the bay. It is also the perfect place for those of you who want to savour a moment of peace and are looking for an inspirational place to sit and read or even write. This Pier also serves as the docking point for the water taxis that take you towards the southern beaches.
